Journalist/filmmaker/actor Ron Devitt is the principal in Mytheltic Film Productions and has worked on numerous film projects since 2002.
Ron has worked as a writer, director and producer in British Columbia’s independent film scene and has worked as a journalist in both Alberta and B.C.
Ron made his first foray into documentary filmmaking with his 2006 documentary entitled War Paths. This film examines the decisions made by American war resisters eluding the war in Iraq, Vietnam draft dodgers who came to Canada and those Canadian soldiers who joined the U.S. military to join the conflict in Vietnam.
He continues to seek subject matter for further documentaries while also writing feature and short films. Ron has directed several music videos, including Karina’s “Follow My Heart”.
